Welcome to my Blog!

It is with great joy that I greet you dear reader cordially, welcome to my blog! Here I aim to utilize this blog in order to empower you, the reader, with the necessary tools and frameworks to build your own alternative institutions in your own community that will hopefully best reflect the needs and values of ordinary individuals much like you and I who are yearning for an alternative to many of the systemic failings of our current traditional institutions, be they part of the private or public sector. Often times discussions about society’s problems focus on the “what” of a problem as opposed to the “how” to fix them. Here we will not concern ourselves with discussions of the problems we will only examine the tools and knowledge of nation building and study how best to apply these tools to offering pragmatic alternatives that can address the needs of our communities and hopefully the nation writ large. Necessarily as a part of this journey we must begin with the cultivation of the individual. Often times despite the best of intentions, movements become coopted or stray from the original theoretical underpinnings, which is why, when developing the ideology that orients our institutions we must always be intellectually honest. Our work is far too important for indivudual egos or those pathologically drawn to power to hijack. We should strive to build a living philosophy that can be embodied by individuals but is adaptable to the changing conditions of our society. While our philosophy should be a living one, our values should be fixed and eternal. In our efforts to nation build, this fact cannot be obscured, we must always ask, are the institutions we are building consistent with the values we proclaim? It is from this philosophical basis we seek to inculcate compassion, intellectualism, and higher ideals in the individual, from there we build community and institutions that reflect the light of our virtues, ultimately to serve as a beacon even our nation state cannot ignore. My hope is that in codifying these disparate branches of knowledge in one place and making it accessible to the average person we can pave a solid foundation for the continued development of humankind, from the hardships of Earth, towards the boundless reaches of the celestial. As part of our statecraft toolbox, I hope to educate you on the topics of fundamental political economy, management and development of a small economy, historical context for understanding the modern world, concrete techniques used by major governmental and private sector bodies for problem solving, and plenty of other gems that I hope you will find interesting.
